# Plan a season

> Ramadan, Eid, back to school, the quiet month before your busy one. Hamla plans the whole run, not one message — and it knows your calendar without being told.

Most businesses do seasons the same way: remember three days before, panic, send one discount email, and repeat next year.

A season is not one message. It is a run — a build-up, a peak, a last chance, and a follow-up afterwards — and planning it is one conversation.

## What you need

* Nothing to connect. Planning is a conversation
* Your country and what you sell on your profile, which Hamla already has from setup
* Whatever channels you want the plan to use. It will only suggest what you can actually send on

## Ask for the whole thing

> Plan my Ramadan campaigns — what to send, when, and on which channels

Hamla works out the dates from today, reads what your business is and where it is, and comes back with a schedule: what goes out when, on which channel, to which audience, and what each one is for.

You get it as a **saved plan** — a document with a title, which stays in your library. In any later conversation you can point at it:

> Build the first week of the Ramadan plan

That is the useful shape. Plan once, execute in pieces, and the plan does not scroll away.

<Note>
**Hamla works out the dates itself.** It knows when Ramadan falls this year, when Eid follows, when the school year starts in your market. It does not read a fixed calendar somebody maintained — which is exactly why it handles the moments nobody thought to put on a list, including your own.
</Note>

## Your season is not the calendar's

The moments that matter to your business are often not the famous ones.

| You run | The seasons that actually matter |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| A restaurant | Ramadan iftar and suhoor, Eid family bookings, the National Day weekend, exam season when nobody goes out |
| A clinic | Back to school check-ups, the new-year resolution wave, insurance renewal month |
| An online store | Eid, White Friday, the payday cycle, end-of-season clearance |
| A SaaS | Budget season, the annual renewal cluster, the quiet fortnight when nobody buys |
| A gym | January, the month before summer, the month after Ramadan |
| An agency | Their clients' planning quarters, not yours |
| **Yours** | |

Tell Hamla which one you mean, in your own words:

> The two weeks before school starts are our busiest — plan a run for that

You do not have to use a name it recognises. Describe it and give it dates.

## The shape of a good run

Ask for the whole arc, not the peak:

> Plan a launch run for the 12th: build anticipation the week before, announce on the day, last chance on the 15th, and a thank-you after

That is four campaigns, not one. Hamla builds them as a set, each with its own audience and channel, and each one goes live only when you say so.

Three things make a seasonal plan work:

| Add | Why |
| ---------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Who gets what** | Your best customers should hear first, not at the same time as everyone |
| **What happens if they buy** | Say "stop it for anyone who orders" and people stop being chased for something they already did |
| **What you will not do** | "No discount, lead with the new arrivals" is a real instruction and Hamla follows it |

## Ask what is coming

> What's coming up in the next couple of months that I should be planning for?

Worth asking at the start of every month. The answer is grounded in your market and your business, not a generic retail calendar.

## Do it earlier than feels necessary

A season needs the audiences built and the messages approved before the week it starts. The most common failure is not a bad plan — it is a good plan approved two days late.

> Remind me to start on the Ramadan plan a month before it begins
