What you need
- A way for Hamla to know the job is done. Two paths, depending on your setup:
- Email, on the Free plan. Push helps as a second nudge
Set it up
Ask for a review five days after delivery, with a push reminder if they don’t respondFive days is the default for a reason: long enough that they have actually used the thing, short enough that they still remember it. Adjust it to how long your thing takes to be worth judging. For a business that is not a store, name your own moment:
Five days after treatment_completed, ask them to leave a review
What to actually say
Ask for one thing. A review request that also cross-sells gets neither.Hope the table was good on Thursday. If you have thirty seconds, a review really helps us — here’s the link.Three things make it work:
- Name the specific thing. “The table on Thursday” beats “your recent experience”
- Say how long it takes. “Thirty seconds” removes the main objection
- One link, one ask. No menu, no offer, no newsletter signup
Do not offer a discount for a review. Most review platforms forbid incentivised reviews and will remove them, and it changes what people write. If you want to give something back, give it for the next visit, unconditionally.
What actually happens
The campaign waits its five days per person, then sends. If someone leaves the review, the push never goes — anyone who has done the thing stops receiving the rest. It works per customer, not per batch. Someone whose order lands today gets asked five days from today.Launch it
Launch the review requestThen it runs on its own for every completed order or appointment from now on.
Check on it
How many reviews came from the review request?Watch reviews received, not emails sent. A high open rate with no reviews usually means the link went somewhere that asked people to make an account first.
