Launches are the one kind of campaign where the date is fixed and everything has to line up behind it. A new collection, a Ramadan menu, a clinic opening, a course intake. The failure is almost always the same: the email goes out, the Instagram post goes up three days later, the popup was never switched on, and the people who care most heard it last.

What you need

  • A list to tell. Everything below reaches people you already have — a launch is not how you find new customers
  • Email and popups, both Free
  • Social posting needs a connected account and the Starter plan
  • A date. Even a rough one — it is what everything else hangs off

Set it up

Say the whole thing at once. This is the case where a long first message saves the most back-and-forth:
I’m launching the new collection on the 12th. Announce it by email, put a popup on the site, draft an Instagram post, and give my VIP customers early access two days before
Hamla builds the pieces as separate campaigns under one idea, so you can review and launch each one rather than getting a single object you cannot take apart.

The shape that works

Early access is the part most businesses skip and the part that works hardest. It costs nothing, it makes your best customers feel like your best customers, and it gets you sales before the general announcement.
Write each channel separately. An email that reads well is a bad Instagram caption, and a caption that works is a thin email. Ask Hamla to draft each one for its own channel — it will, if you say so.

What actually happens

Unlike most campaigns in Hamla, a launch does not wait for someone to do something. You pick the audience and the moment, and it goes. That means the audience is the decision that matters. “Everyone” is rarely right — people who bought that category before will out-convert your full list several times over.

Launch it

Launch the announcement, and schedule the VIP one for the 10th
You get a confirmation card for each. Scheduling gets you the same card with the time on it.

Check on it

How did the launch go?
Compare the early-access group against everyone else. If early access converted no better, your VIP segment is not really your VIPs — rebuild it on what people actually spent.
